Web Developer

DotCom Your Event is seeking a dynamic individual to join our growing team.

Key Requirements

• Strong, demonstrable skill writing asp.net (c#) applications
• Solid hand-coding of both CSS and semantic, efficient, standards-compliant XHTML
• You possess ninja-like javascript skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate a proficiency in jQuery or a similar library
• You have a keen eye for user interface, usability, and an understanding of accessibility guidelines
• Detail oriented in all areas of your work from covering all points of a discussion to writing code, naming conventions, and documentation, with a focus on code readability and efficiency
• You have an insatiable eagerness to learn and apply new technologies
• Ability to hand code complex, yet efficient SQL statements. You can structure a normalized database in your sleep.
• Experience working with SQL Server 2005/2008
• You work great with a team of developers as well as on your own. You possess excellent problem solving and decision making skills. You can take an idea, run with it, and the end result is not just ‘workable’.
• Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable ASP Classic (vbscript) skill
